All About That Bass … at the VMAs

The VMA’s were filled with wonderful and concerning outfits. I was most concerned by Nicki Minaj’s dress choices at this year’s VMA Awards as I thought it was a bad reflection by her to girls like me. She held the front of her dress closed during the entire performance of “Bang Bang” with Jessie J and Ariana Grande. Now I don’t know if the zipper broke or her dress ripped or whether it was supposed to be like that. But I thought her choices at this years’ awards were a poor reflection for girls like me.

I think Nicki and other artists like her should pay attention to the lyrics from Meghan Trainer’s song, “All About that Bass.” The lyrics talk about never changing yourself by doing plastic surgery or doing anything to affect your body. Nicki has done all of that and it’s not a very good impression on her young fans. So remember, all my young and mature readers, never change yourself. Stay the same as you are like me.
