Meerkats

HEY BAM FANS! This week my blog is about Meerkats. Meerkats are small mammals. They have a diet of little reptiles, insects, and vegetation. Meerkats do not have an easy life because they have to defend each other at all times. Hawks, Eagles, and Falcons are some of the dangers they face.

Meerkats weigh about 2.2 pounds at adulthood. They can stand up to 12 inches (one foot). The gestation period for a Meerkat is 11 weeks. Their litter size can be from as low as 2, to as high as 5. They can run to speeds of 37 miles per hour. Meerkats always live in a group to keep watch for any predators. That is all for this week. Claw you later.
